Duta Pamungkas was born on August 14th 1982. There were no musicians or artists in his family and he was never formally educated in music, so he perfected his musical artistry all by himself. His main instrument is guitar but he also plays other instruments.

He studied Sociology in college but it did not fulfill him, so he took up a new life as a full time musician. He started his career playing his, or other people’s songs, at cafes, weddings, and other events. He then became a session guitarist while also branching out to a whole new level of film scoring.

He finally decided to form a duet called MarcoMarche in 2014, and he started his solo project a year later.
